Most Asked Questions

It is one of the forms of manufacturing technology that began in 1986, where a three-dimensional object is formed by laying successive thin layers of a material on top of each other. 3D printers are usually faster, more cost-effective, and easier to use than other manufacturing technologies.

The types of files that can be input into the printer software are: STL, OBJ, and 3DS.

Repetier Software, a free program, is used for inputting the model file to be printed, then slicing it (a process of converting the model into precise layers with a layer thickness of up to 100 microns) before sending the file to the printer via USB cable or saving the model as a gcode file to be sent to the printer using an SD memory card.

Among the most popular materials used as printing filaments are ABS and PLA.

Model Selection (The Prototype): Choose the 3D model, also known as an "STL" file, which can be obtained from dedicated download sites, via a 3D scanner, or by design from specialists in the field.

Slicing the Model: Send the selected model to the slicing software "Slicer," where this program slices the model into a large number of very thin layers, or "slices," which may exceed a thousand layers.

Installing the STL File: Load the file via storage memory or the printer's own cloud storage, depending on its specifications.
